Be the Future Itself

I got this task from my work to analyze Indonesian youth behaviors. And the result that I found is astonishing. One thing I can say for sure, that Indonesian youth, including me, is independent in Indonesia, never really mean independent.

Well, what is independent mean, according to Oxford dictionary : Free from outside control; not subject to other’s authority:
In my simple understanding, when we are independent we tent to act according to what we believe and more. In Indonesia, you can’t really distance yourself from the society. What society says play a big part on Indonesian youth. In a big country where everybody talking it’s harder to make a clear decision in the name of in-dependency.

In the bright side, it is become easier to navigate along, just be like them and no one will bother you. In the downside, it’s become easier to get lost, well how come you can think if every body get to close to your ear? Even a simple talk or ask for help can be heard as a yell.
It’s pathetic I now. Our starve for freedom is actually our cry for help. because deep down we, Indonesian youth, know that we will never be apart from the society. Huh…..
